PUBLIC SAFETY
Public safety is an overall concern for all Henderson residents. Ensuring the continued safety of our city is my number one priority. We need to work together to help our police department, and it starts with community interaction. I encourage you to form, or become a member of, a neighborhood watch program, become a volunteer, and/or sign up for the citizens police academy to learn more the department. Our fire department is one of the best in the nation. I will work to secure adequate funding and provide support for both our police and fire departments, while maintaining a work environment that is healthy and positive.

QUALITY OF LIFE
I moved to the city of Henderson for its exceptional quality of life such as parks, walking trails, recreational facilities, community events, and emergency services--all of which are important to our residents. A strong and healthy community like Henderson empowers its residents to achieve a higher quality of life. I will identify issues that require improvement and work the strategic plan my colleagues and myself have built based on feedback from our residents and businesses.

TRANSPARENCY
An open and accessible government is a trusted government. As a city councilwoman, I will always be available to the constituents who honored me with their vote. Please join me as I continue to host monthly morning meet ups and participate in Council Connections.

QUALITY EDUCATION
Education is a critical factor for the long-term success of our community. I support school choice and the idea of a Henderson school district. We need to find common sense solutions to address our teacher shortage, large class sizes, and low academic achievement. While I cannot directly make education decisions in my role as a city councilwoman, I support quality education and will work towards the changes we can make as a local government. Our children deserve better.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
A strong and resilient economy is one that is diversified and places great importance on small businesses. Eighty percent of the Henderson economy is founded in the small business sector. I will work to assist in bringing in new, innovative jobs to Henderson and support new business and industry that provide high wages and with minimum water usage.
